Artists are invited to submit 24x36 inch works to Amy.Wineland@summitcountyco.gov by April 4, 2025.
A $400 honorarium ($250 for students) will be awarded.

Narcan (naloxone) is a life-saving medication that can reverse an opioid overdose. Here are 4 easy steps to administer Narcan nasal spray:
Step 1: HOLD the spray with your thumb on the bottom of the plunger and place your index finger and middle fingers on the side of the nozzle.

Step 2: TILT the person's head back and support their head with your hand.

Step 3: INSERT the nozzle into a nostril, until your fingers on either side of the nozzle are against the bottom of the person's nose. Then, PRESS the plunger firmly to release the full dose.
Step 4: CALL 911. Then, put the person in a “recovery position.” Roll them on their side, with their head resting on their hands and one knee bent out to the side to prevent them from rolling onto their stomach.
If you suspect someone is overdosing on opioids, don't hesitate to administer Narcan. It's safe and easy to use, and it could save a life.

Fresh powder is calling, but remember: with fun on the slopes comes the risk of injury. On average, 2-4 skiers per 1,000 are injured daily in the U.S. Whether you’re skiing or snowboarding, these tips can help keep you safe:
✅ Warm Up: Stretch your muscles to prevent strains and tears.
✅ Know Your Limits. It is important to rest When Tired as most injuries happen when fatigue sets in.
✅ Gear Up: Wear a helmet, wrist guards (for snowboarders), and properly fitted equipment.
✅ Stay Hydrated: Water is just as important on the slopes as it is in the gym.
